Before implementing our new system, owners and managers requesting vessel inspections lacked transparency and had to rely on email communication for updates, validation, and analysis. This process was time-consuming and inefficient, leading to delays and misunderstandings.
We were struggling with the lack of transparency and inefficiency in the vessel inspection process. Coordinating everything over email was a nightmare.
We decided to develop a user-first system that would address these challenges. We conducted extensive research to understand the needs and pain points of our users. Based on this research, we designed a streamlined platform that would provide real-time updates, allow for easy validation and changes, and enable users to analyse findings directly on the platform.
After implementing the new system, owners and managers experienced a significant improvement in the inspection process. They now had transparency over the entire process, could easily follow up and validate findings, and could analyse data directly on the platform. This led to a reduction in email exchanges and saved our in-house teams countless hours, improving overall efficiency and client satisfaction.
I harnessed the power of design thinking to navigate complex challenges, leading to a groundbreaking product that redefines vessel inspection management. Through innovative problem-solving and a keen understanding of user needs, I created a solution that streamlines processes and enhances transparency. This achievement not only saves countless hours for our team but also provides owners and managers with a transparent, user-first system for inspection requests.
